Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival Paro – Thimphu Arrival in Paro meet & assist and transfer to Thimphu Valley. In the evening, time permitting, visit the impressive Trashicho Dzong. Overnight in Thimphu

DAY 2: Thimphu: After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Thimphu. Visit Buddha Dordenma, Gagyel Lhundrup Weaving Centre, Memorial Chorten, Zorig Chosum, National Library, Traditional Hanmade Paper Factory. Overnight in Thimphu

DAY 3: Thimphu – Punakha After breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) stopping briefly here. After Lunch, hike to the nearby Chimi Lakhang, a temple dedicated to the “Divine Madman”. On arrival in Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong. Overnight in Punakha

DAY 4: Punakha After breakfast visit Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery, explore the nearby villages of Talo or Nobgang. Also visit Nalanda Monastery. Overnight in Punakha

DAY 5: Punakha – Paro After early breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Paro. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing. visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong). Also Visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight in Paro.

DAY 6: Paro After breakfast proceed for excursion to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest. In the evening, visit a Traditional farmhouse. Overnight in Paro.

DAY 7: Paro: After breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Paro airport to board flight for onward destination.
