New – Mara Elatia

Mara Elatia Camp “The Good Neighbour” is a getaway camp located along the Oloololo escarpment facing the plains of the Mara Triangle, one of the conservancies in the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The camp overlooks the Mara River which is famous for the annual wildebeest migration between the months of July and September and faces one of the three ‘Kalema Hills’ where the epic movie “Out of Africa” was filmed in 1985.

The sophisticated tented camp offers a relaxing breather experiences in the wild only found at the escarpment. These include the amazing sight-seeing of the Mbuzi Mawe, commonly known as Klipspringer, from the comfort of your balcony. The Klipspringer is a dwarf antelope known for its remarkable jumping ability on rocky escarpments. Guests are also given a tour of the Rhino Sanctuary which has seven White Rhinos at an extra cost.

The camp has 12 tents with modern ensuite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, rain shower and a private balcony.
