We were very impressed with Ilkeliani Camp, Masai Mara. The family suite, in particular, was incredibly spacious and beautiful.
Our ranger/driver was also a standout—extremely knowledgeable and remarkably good with our kids. Whether or not the lodge officially specializes in being family-friendly, his approach was absolutely amazing and he made the trip for us.
Given how excellent the sleeping setup is for families and the high quality and space of the tents, we would definitely consider coming back if we go as a family.

Maasai Mara
Everything at Entim Camp feels bespoke. The bush breakfast under a gnarled olive tree was fantastic. Our driver guide expertly led us to cheetahs, elephants, lions, and a thrilling lion-buffalo chase. Which ended in a kill.
Ol Pejeta
Our driver and guide was outstanding, personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. For example, once he realized we were interested in bird life in addition to the larger animals, he was at pains to stop and explain all the unique birds that we encountered. His in-depth explanations extended to the larger animals, too, telling us about their age, characteristics and habitat. Travel Affairs safari drivers are always very good but he is one of the best we have had. At Ol Pejeta, we saw black and white rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, and many other animals. Visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary and feeding Baraka the blind white rhino provided a super photo opportunity.

There were so many wonderful things we saw and experienced. The trip exceeded my expectations. Seeing animals in the wild is so incredible…and we saw lots!
First, your guides were fantastic, as was the female guide in the Mara.
The drivers/guides were knowledgeable, very professional without being formal or stiff, and lots of fun. They made suggestions and let us give input and make the decisions. Of course, we usually just did what they suggested. They were good drivers too. We felt very confident and safe with them.
Ashnil Samburu and Entim Mara Camp offered lots of attention and excellent service from the very friendly staff. All the resorts had nice staff, including Kibo Safari Camp, where we enjoyed spending time in the beautiful round bar area with the friendly bartenders. Ashnil Samburu and Sweetwaters Serena Camp staff were perhaps our favourites.
We loved Amboseli National Park and seeing Kilimanjaro with a pink sky with flamingos in the foreground was fabulous….one of my favourite pics! We feel so lucky to have had the right weather.
As I said at the beginning we loved the trip as it was.
Your brochure (thank you for the second copy) was very helpful especially after we came home, to help remember the names of places and parks! We covered a lot of ground. 😄

All aspects exceeded our expectations, and the day ran very smoothly! And the timings of things were great, we really appreciated that we could spend quite a bit of time at the Nairobi national park and then be in time for the elephant sanctuary and then back home at a decent time!

We started our gorilla expedition in Uganda by walking about 2 hours to the forest and into it, spent an hour with the gorillas in the first location, maybe 2 hours in the second and then followed them deeper into the forest for the last hour. The time flew past and it was an amazing experience. The guide, trackers and armed rangers were all super, very informative and always wanting us to get the best views, helping us over some of the tricky terrain etc. We were charged at by the Silverback but he veered away at the last minute – we had already been told what to do / not to do if it happened. I would advise anyone who is doing the gorilla trekking, to do the 4 hour habituation as well as the 1 hour regular trek, if they can afford it. It is a long way to go for just a one hour trek, and the 4 hour habituation experience was very different and quite incredible.
So in summary, a wonderful experience of a lifetime and beautifully organised – thank you!

The transport to and from parking spot was always ready and available. Rooms were cleaned on time. In the evening, they were prepared for the night. 5 out of 5 again. Food was really good as well. Chef Wycliffe did so well to accommodate allergies and also veggie food requests. He even gave us a special request breakfast.

The logistics were seamless, thanks to the travel agencies having us fill all the necessary forms, which allowed for a very easy passage through immigration. We were always well taken care of by professional guides, like Mr. Hari in Jakarta and others who knew exactly where to take us to see some of the best that Bali had to offer. We loved the range of experiences:
- The trekking on Padar Island was challenging but worth it, and the view from our boat was exquisite.

Overall, we had a great experience. We were especially impressed by our guide, Pesih. We saw a massive river crossing–which we were initially skeptical about waiting for–but it was so worth it. Pesih’s knowledge of the animals and the environment was unmatched. Everything he predicted would happen, happened. My friends were shocked and amazed at everything we were able to see in just a few days. As the one person who had been on safari previously, I thought it was the best safari I’ve been on.
I will again note that our guide, Pesih, made a huge difference in our experience. He was not the type of guide to rattle off facts about the animals, but he knew a lot and more importantly understood how to make sure we saw the most unique events. Every day we saw something spectacular; from a cheetah running, to the river crossing, to a leopard jumping up in the tree to eat her food.
The safaris were amazing and such different experiences in Kenya and Tanzania, we really enjoyed all of it and the beach was incredible.
Our entire family managed to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the guides and the porters were amazing!!

Our Kenya safari was an unforgettable adventure! We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and each park had its own magic. Although we just missed the Great Migration, we were still lucky to see the big 5!

The trip you coordinated for us was first-class! The accommodations, travel segments by vehicle and air, and tour guides were great. The itinerary was easily adjusted when required.
The safaris and accommodations were fantastic! They got better as we went along and our two favourites were Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Entim Private Camp for accommodations.
Ol Pejeta was unique in so many ways. Having the watering hole so close gave us access to seeing many animals without having to leave our tents!
We enjoyed the Samburu Game Reserve as this is where we saw our first lions and their kill the next morning! We experienced so many elephants and camels in this reserve.
The experience of the Mara was well worth the time. The Entim Private Camp was beautiful with top level tents. The fact that there was no fences was slightly unnerving but amazing when you realized the hippos moved at nightfall right by the tents.
Zubeida Resort, Diani was fantastic and the location was beautiful. The beach was wonderful and the warmth was welcome. Thank you for the suggestion!

The Emakoko Nairobi National Park, Hemingways Nairobi, Chui Lodge Naivasha, The Cliff Nakuru and Governors Il Moran Camp Masai Mara.
Emakoko wonderful place and an excellent location, Chui Lodge is very nice and romantic would have loved to stay more, The Cliff a nice place with good food. Governors Il Moran Camp beautiful place. Our guide took us on wonderful game drives and showed us the wildebeest migration and the big 5 animals. He was also very polite and well informed. We enjoyed his company and the game drives a lot.

work. No time wasted, nothing went wrong. All exactly as planned which is unusual when on such a trip and party size. I achieved my dream of taking the family to see their roots. And they are grateful to me.Absolutely excellent service by Nimesh and Chris, we booked all transfers, hotels both in Nariobi and Masai Mara safari lodge. We were given lots of choices in both Nariobi and for the lodge and they were so helpful and patient when I changed things, we ended up flying from Wilson airport to Keekorok airstrip, which was fab, saved loads of time and got a safari on the way to the lodge. Our lodge was moderately priced but was clean and the staff were amazing, along with the tent and the food. I would highly recommend this tour company. The hats we received on arrival at Nairobi were a lovely thought. We will definitely use them again.

Sanctuary Olanana in Masai Mara was first class, our massages and facials there were great. I think one person said the massage was the best they’d ever had! Sanctuary Tambarare in Ol Pejeta Conservancy felt small and intimate and honestly, we felt like family there.
Janet, I literally cannot think of any areas to be improved upon. Our drivers in Nairobi were equally great and on time (actually, early). We loved the elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary. The hike on Mt Kenya was tailored to our preferences (for a shorter hike). You did such an excellent job with every aspect of the trip.

All of the arrangements you made, the hotel, camps, transportation, drivers and general logistics were very satisfactory. Mara Olare Kempinski & Pioneer Camp, Serengeti were excellent in terms of game drives, accommodations, food, guides, and support staff. Our game viewing was excellent in both places, we did have an unheard of experience in Serengeti where we saw a male Lion and a Leopard in the same tree. We’re told that’s a very rare sighting.

Our highlight, as a place to stay, was definitely the Elephant’s Bedroom. This is a magical place and an incredible experience and we loved every minute of our stay there. We were emotional and sad when we had to leave there, it was incredible. The Masai Mara was also exceptional for the day-to-day safari and the hotel Serena was also incredible – a million dollar view from the bedroom windows.

Botswana & Victoria Falls Tour
The trip overall was a 10 out of 10, and we all had a fabulous time every step of the way. Thank you very much for your efforts in making this happen, I know it is a trip that the four of us will remember forever. I definitely feel that we made the best use of our time in each location, especially since we were on the move so much.
Cape Town accommodations were excellent, especially the bed and breakfast place.
Transportation to Botswana was perfect, with someone meeting us at the airport and then helping us as we got to the Okavango. The accommodations at the Xakanaxa Camp were amazing.
Chobe National Park was perfect in every respect. The hotel was great, and the order of every activity was perfect schedule wise for us.
The location of the Kingdom was perfect for our activities at Victoria Falls. The walk along the Falls on the Zimbabwe side after was a great way to see everything after doing the more extreme stuff earlier.
Again, thank you for everything. It was a trip of a lifetime – one I had been dying to do since visiting Kenya in 2015.

I went on a 10 day trip to Kenya through Travel Affairs. Within that period, they organized activities in 4 different locations throughout the country – Nairobi, Massai Mara, Diani, and Mombassa. The agenda was meticulously planned and everything went very smoothly. The accommodations were fantastic, the staff extremely helpful, and the activities ranging from snorkeling to hot air balloon safari!
I recently visited Kenya for 10 days and went to Nairobi, Masai Mara, and Mombasa through travel affairs. It was the trip of a lifetime! Every place we stayed at was gorgeous and the people were extremely hospitable. For the Masai Mara safari, our drivers were very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of Africa. On that safari we were lucky to see lions, hippos, elephants, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, hyenas, buffalo, and many more! Our stay at Mombasa was lovely and relaxing- travel affairs put us up in these gorgeous beach front villas with a private chef! We had a large group (11 people) and travel affairs was able to accommodate all of our needs very well, including things like lost luggage. Travel Affairs is the best, and you should book with them because they will make your vacation enjoyable and fun!
