Witness Nature’s Greatest Wildlife Spectacle
Excitement is building as the Great Wildebeest Migration prepares to make its annual journey toward the Masai Mara. Usually taking place between July and October, this world-famous wildlife spectacle is expected to be especially impressive in 2026.
Following an exceptionally strong calving season in the southern Serengeti earlier this year, with more than 550,000 calves born, experts predict even larger herd movements this season.
The massive herds of wildebeest, joined by zebras and gazelles, are currently moving through Tanzania and will soon begin crossing into Kenya’s Maasai Mara. One of the most dramatic highlights will be the famous Mara River crossings, where animals brave crocodile-filled waters in search of greener grazing grounds.
The Great Migration remains one of Africa’s most unforgettable safari experiences and a must-see natural wonder.
