Keziah and Susan visit Dubai
Our Travel Consultants Keziah and Susan visit Dubai and share their experience:
Dubai is a great holiday destination with a wide range of activities, including water sports, desert adventures, and cultural experiences.
There is so much to see and do in Dubai, including shopping, visiting attractions, and experiencing unique activities. From the ultra-modern tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa, to the souks and malls filled with gold and jewelry vendors. One can never get tired of visiting over and over again.
It’s a place where, if you can dream it, you can do it. Whether that means skiing indoors, dune-surfing in the desert, or zip-lining above the city.
Below are some of the destinations we were able to tour:
The View At The Palm
Stunning 360-degree views 240 meters above the world-famous Palm Jumeirah. At 240 meters high, the view on level 52 of the iconic Palm Tower offers panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, iconic landmarks and hidden gems of this beautiful city. Best time to enjoy the view is during sunrise and sunset.
Dubai Desert Safari
Experience an adrenaline-pumping 4×4 drive through the desert sand dunes, witness a spectacular desert sunset, enjoy a camel ride, and at the end of the day, a traditional Arabian BBQ dinner while watching a belly dance and other performances under the stars.
Catamaran Cruising in Marina
This is a 2-hour scenic route of major attractions while sailing along Dubai Marina to see the city’s modern skyline. This experience reveals the contrast between the old and new Dubai. Relish allinclusive buffet dinner, soft drinks, and lots more in this 2-hour Catamaran Dinner Cruise. Kenyan citizens need a visa to visit Dubai.
Dubai Immigration has implemented a new rule where all tourist visa applications (new or already in process) must be accompanied by Hotel Vouchers and Return Tickets.
One can travel to Dubai directly from Nairobi by either Emirates or Kenya Airways. There are also several non-direct airlines options which are usually cheaper.
