Larsens Camp is named after the famous explorer Eric Larsen and was built in the exact same spot the explorer first camped. The camp offers breathtaking surroundings of the Ewaso Nyiro River and the expansive Samburu Game Reserve.
It takes approximately 5 hours to drive from Nairobi to Samburu Gate and another 30 minutes from the gate to the camp. It is an eco-friendly, upper mid-range hotel in Samburu Game Reserve with wellfurnished rooms.
The camp has 12 Luxury Tented Suites, 2 Family Luxury Suites and 2 Deluxe Suites (the Deluxe Suite have their own check-in area, Star bed, Outdoor shower, Plunge pool & Private Butler).
